Creative Carrot Studios (CCS) gave a presentation at the Women’s Prosperity Network this past weekend. We stressed quality over quantity regarding online presence, marketing materials, content, etc.  After the presentation, an attorney who attended told me, “when you said quality over quantity, it really struck home with me.”  Most of us think that quality is such common sense – but when involved in the melee of promoting our own businesses and attempting to outdo the competition, people overdo and miss the details.

We have a client who had a 9-page outdated website with low quality images.  The client had a lot of traffic, but this was not converting to customers.  By taking down his 9 pages and only putting up a high quality “under construction” notice with minor keywords, he received so much increased traffic that he is hiring new staff – and we have not even launched his new website.

CCS recommends that you use an objective & critical eye to evaluate your print and online marketing and determine if your presence in these areas is actually hurting your business instead of helping.
